Managing Director
Prince Val Oji who recently consulted for the African Development Bank (AfDB), Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, as a Communications and Capacity Development Consultant, is a thoroughbred reputation management leader with over 25 years demonstrated expertise in public relations, corporate branding, events management, strategic communications consulting, advertising strategy development & management, media relations management and leadership development. As a highly accomplished communications expert with Africa-wide and emerging economies perspectives, he has contributed immensely to, and deepened the brand equity, market shares, strategic storytelling ethos and customer experience, of the following leading global brands, African Development Bank Group, Coca Cola, Emirates, Motorola, Nestle, May & Baker, Cadbury and MTN, to mention a few, over the course of his career.

In his role as the Founder/ Managing Director of Purple Canvas Communications, a Public Relations firm with niche interests in writing and producing Commissioned Books for accomplished professionals too busy to write their own books, Val comes well equipped to the party with expert written communication skills, immense wealth of experience in corporate public relations consulting and slices-of-life experience. He has published profusely in newspapers and industry publications; as well as completing two non-fiction books for clients; the first is on Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), while the second is about the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. He holds the Master of Communication Arts (MCA) degree of the University of Ibadan (1991), Nigeria; and is currently completing the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. He is married with four adorable children.

Executive Director, Media Services
Muyiwa Akintunde has BA English from the University of Lagos, and over 15 years experience in media planning and deployment. He was the Editor of The News Magazine for over 4 years. Mr Akintunde has an in-depth understanding of the media landscape in Nigeria, and has attended many professional courses both in Nigeria and outside the country.

Executive Director, Creative
Ozoemena Mbanefo is the Executive Director, Creative. A multiple award winning visual artist, Ozoemena holds the BA Creative Arts degree of the University of Benin, as well as over 15 years uninterrupted advertising agency experience. An iconoclastic ideas man, who has conceptualised, developed and managed many award-winning advertising campaigns for global brands.
Ozoemena truly epitomises the war room, the creative engine room of Purple Canvas Communications.
